Using the latest CCTV camera systems, LN Transport locates cracks, root ingress, displaced joints, collapses and rogue connections with minimal disruption, and pinpoints them with sonde location and dye tracing so any repair goes exactly where it is needed.
We survey everything from a single household run to complete site networks. Every survey is carried out by operators trained and assessed by WITA, the Water Industry Training Association, and comes with a detailed structural report produced with specialist reporting software.

Who needs a CCTV survey?
Homebuyers and conveyancers use them to check the condition of the drains before exchange. Builders and developers need them to prove new drainage is laid correctly, to get building-control sign-off and to satisfy build-over agreements with the water company. Utilities, estates and facilities managers use them to plan maintenance and to settle responsibility disputes.
What you get
A survey is only as useful as the report that follows it. Ours includes the recorded footage, a schematic of the run, a defect-by-defect breakdown with locations, and plain-English recommendations. If remedial work is needed we will quote for it, and because we also carry out repairs we can take the whole job from diagnosis to completion.
Clean first, then survey
A camera cannot see through silt and grease. Where a line is dirty we combine our CCTV and van-pac jetting units so the pipe is cleaned first, giving you an accurate picture of the pipe wall rather than the debris in it. The same combination drives robotic precision cutters capable of removing large roots and intruding connections when a pipeline has to be completely clear before relining.

How long does a CCTV drain survey take?
A typical domestic survey usually takes a couple of hours on site. Larger sites and networks are quoted individually once we know the number of runs and manholes involved.
Do you provide a written report?
Yes. Every survey comes with a detailed structural report including footage, a drainage schematic, defect locations and recommendations.
Can you survey a drain that is blocked?
Yes. We clear the line with high-pressure jetting first, then survey it. Both can usually be done on the same visit.
Are your operators qualified?
